There is more good news for fans, racers and supporters of the Top Fuel Motorcycle class.  A category, which some feared was headed for extinction after the collapse of the economy a few years back, has been significantly solidified with renewed interest from talented riders, sponsors and builders.

Cycledrag.com has confirmed legendary motorcycle drag racer Terry Kizer of famous speed shop Mr. Turbo, is planning a return to the the sport to race a Top Fuel Motorcycle.

Sam Wills, who just collected his own first five-second time slip on a nitro bike, will be building the chassis and Top Fuel legend Larry “Spiderman” McBride will be supplying many of the parts. McBride has already sold Kizer a clutch, a clutch cannon and a cylinder head.

“He’s an awesome competitor. I can’t wait to get him out there,” McBride said. “Terry used to race his Funny Bike in Top Fuel. He’s very talented. I think he will be out testing by the end of the year.”
