Stotz Racing Back in the Saddle

Frankie Stotz

Kent Stotz got Back in the Saddle for the first time in almost two years. True to his experience he had reaction times between .023 and .064 which is the best in the class. Stotz wanted to test the new XXX 138 race fuel which made 9.5 % more HP on the dyno.

The first round of qualifying sent the bike on giant wheelies even with the boost controller turned down. Stotz tamed the bike to go on to win the race but never got to see what it will ultimately run. Stay tuned to the Stotz Racing team as they test the limits of the new XXX race fuel.

Frankie Stotz had low ET of the first race and went to the final with confidence.

“The SuperStreet Honda CBR1000RR was running great. Before Frankie’s final, we tested the boost controller (which requires unplugging the airshifter) and you guessed it, forgot to plug it back in, hence the runner up finish. A rookie mistake. This is no longer his rookie year for riding but it is his rookie year for being the crew chief of his own bike,” Stotz said. “Thankfully most of his rookie riding mistakes he made once and learned. We are looking forward to the Memorial Day race and the crowds Da Grove always pulls in.”
