Pro Xtreme Coming to XDA

This all new 1/8 mile heads-up class will feature Turbocharged, Supercharged, and/or Nitrous Injected dragbikes on gasoline or methanol, along with nitro injected dragbikes. Minimum weight for the class will be 700 lbs. for all combinations. Complete rules for PX will be posted before the end of the year along with all other XDA classes on www.XDAracing.com.

PX will be a points class and will compete at the following 4 XDA events in 2019: the PFR Spring Nationals on Apr 26-28 at MDIR, the Superbike Showdown on Jun 21-23 at MDIR, the Bike Bash on Aug 23-25 at VMP, and the DME Racing Fall Nationals on Sept 20-22 at MDIR.

Dan Wagner from DTM and Jason Miller from the XDA worked together to put this program together. PX is expected to be very exciting to watch, full of trick new dragbikes that most people have never seen before.







Nine PX riders have pre-registered and paid for all four events.

The amazing new Timblin chassis Funny Bike of Kevin Clarke ridden this season by Terry Schweigert) . 63-year-old Clarke said, “I am a mechanical contractor in Virginia Beach and went to Norview High school, 1973. I have been drag racing motorcycles since 1978 and have always been interested in turbos and have had smaller versions of what I have now. I have always wanted a bike like this and I knew with Dan Wagner’s help and modern technology that exist today. With the help and guidance of Steve Nichols we could perfect one of the fastest bike in the world!”

Rider: John Collins began his racing career at the very young age of 23. Collins has raced with the Southern Cycle Racing Riders, at Piedmont Dragway. The home track of the Big Dog Shootout by founder Bob Harris. John races throughout the south and ventures to wherever the Big Dogs race their Pro Mod Bikes. But what makes this trucking business magnet race, is his love for motorcycles. John has bikes to race in sever-al classes and he is a winner. When you see the “showtime” trailer “little John” is ready to race. John wants to thank all of his family and friends for their support and especially his wife Patricia.
