There will be exciting championship showdowns in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle, and an increased amount of points in play with the points-and-a-half system. The Auto Club NHRA Finals winners will earn 150 points and can earn up to 191 points at the race, setting the stage plenty of memorable performances.
Andrew Hines went winless in 2018, but 2019 is a different story. As the winningest Pro Stock Motorcycle rider, Hines owns eight wins on the season and has his sights set on a sixth championship. In second place is Jerry Savoie, who won in Indianapolis and went on to win two playoff titles. Hines’ teammate and four-time champion, Eddie Krawiec, is a mere one point behind Savoie in third.
