The Gulf Western Oil Winternationals at Willowbank Raceway is the biggest drag race in the world outside of the United States and this year featured an exciting motorcycle drag racing field of nine top-notch competitors – Luke Crowley, who recently became Australia’s first six-second Pro Bike racer, veteran Scott White and his 1755 c.c. Suzuki GS, IHRA Australia President Maurice Allen, NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle racer “Kalifornia” Katie Sullivan, HAYABUSA Spider-Man Andrew Badcock, Championship contender Ryan Learmonth of Wiseguy Racing, Locky Ireland and his 1655 c.c. Suzuki, “Dancing” Daniel Rabnott and championship hopeful Glenn Wooster. With a championship on the line, records at stake and a USA vs. Australia rivalry, this field is stacked. We take you all the way through the event from the rain-shortened qualifying to the unexpected upsets and drama on championship Sunday.
