Trim-Tex Takes Texas and Points Lead Heading into Final Race

Updating a story from earlier in the week, the Trim-Tex/ Fall Line Sports Car team took the win in Texas and has earned a five point lead in the championship standings heading into the final race in Atlanta.

Per the IMSA website –

It was the second win of the season for Edwards and co-driver Trent Hindman in the No. 46 Fall-Line Motorsports BMW M3, and gives Hindman the points lead with one race remaining.

“John Edwards used rain tires on a damp Circuit of The Americas course to chase down and pass leader Tom Kimber-Smith for the win in Friday’s Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge race. It was the second win of the season for Edwards and co-driver Trent Hindman in the No. 46 Fall-Line Motorsports BMW M3, and gives Hindman the points lead with one race remaining.

 Ryan Eversley and Kyle Gimple knew rain would give them an advantage in Friday’s Lone Star Le Mans. The rain came and sure enough the No. 75 Compass360 Racing Honda Civic Si benefitted with Eversley and Gimple winning their second race of the season.
