MPS Joins Rob Bush’s Pro Mod Hayabusa Effort

MPS is very proud to announce our partnership with Rob Bush on his Ron Clark piloted Pro Mod Hayabusa.  We achieved positive results from the EFI and fuel system we installed last season when Ron ran a best ever ET of 6.80 at the final AMA Dragbike event at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Valdosta, GA.

For 2009 MPS will provide the entire engine management system.  We have installed Accel DFI to control MPS 62lb injectors and the MPS Spyder Dry Nitrous System.  Noteworthy, because it is the first dry nitrous Pro Mod bike along with being the first 6 second fuel injected Pro Mod.  The fuel system consists of a NOS pump and Magnafuel regulator flowing fuel to the injectors from a MPS fuel rail.  An MSD MC-4 Ignition will light the fire.  The data acquisition is by RPM Performance and will monitor air fuel ratios and exhaust gas temperatures in each cylinder.  Innovations abound in the clutch department as well with a new MTC Gen II clutch with an MPS Air –Hydraulic Clutch release set up and MPS Quick Access Clutch Cover.

Dan Rudd of MPS will provide technical support at all the races for the team.  Plans at this time include running the entire AMA Dragbike and SEMDRA race series
