Last September standout female motorcycle drag racer Angie Smith suffered one of the worst crashes the class has ever seen. Her top-end mishap in St. Louis left her with nine broken toes and wounds so deep that you could see her tendons through her leathers.
In this interview Smith explains how she was able to mount a comeback that saw her advance to the semifinals at the NHRA Gatornationals and run a career best elapsed-time of 6.69.
