In this video we investigate what has become a controversial Chad Reed Supercross Kawasaki 450 that hit the auction block at Mecum in January and received a bid of $37K, failing to meet its $50K reserve. We thought the story ended st the auction but afterwards Chad Reed commented that it was not his bike and he has the real one in Atlanta.
The story took another twist when Rick Doughty of Motobilia provided documentation in an attempt to prove the bike’s authenticity. In this video we do a deep dive and present all the evidence we have as to whether or not Chad Reed’s 22 Kawasaki offered at Mecum Auction is real or a replica.
