Following back-to-back race weekends in Virginia and Ohio NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle star Chris Bostick is poised to take his top ten standing on the Western Swing.
Bostick says his Surf RV Resort Pro Stock Motorcycle team rolled through Virginia and Ohio with sights set on progress, and found it.
In Virginia Bostick qualified 12th and scored a first round victory.

“After the race, we stayed to test different setups focused on our 60-foot times — and the results were encouraging,” Bostick said. “We took that momentum to Norwalk, Ohio, where we qualified 11th and faced off against Angie Smith in Round One. We got the jump at the starting line and held the lead for nearly the entire pass but Angie’s 198 mph top-end caught us right at the stripe. Angie won and the photo shows what 2/100 of a second looks like at almost 200 miles an hour. Our mile-per-hour was only 192, so we know we’re a little down on power — but the bike is launching strong, and our Crew Chief Tim Kulungian is back at the shop chasing the horsepower we need to finish what we’ve started.

Next stop for Bostick will be Pacific Raceways in Seattle, Washington for the Western Swing, July 18-20.
