He is known to many for his love of family, racing, and laughter. According to cycledrag.com, “Greene will best be remembered for stellar performances on a Dan Wagner-tuned Outlaw Pro Street Bike known as ‘The Black Widow’ from 2003-05. Greene’s most successful season of MIROCK racing came in 2003 when he finished second in points to his good friend Joe “Fast” Long. In 2004, Greene’s run of 7.13 at 198 mph was the quickest Outlaw pass ever. Greene also found success in the Pro Mod ranks and quickly became a major contender in the AMA/Prostar series.”
To cherish his memory are his parents: Pascal and Alice Quarterman; siblings: Monique and Prince Quarterman; grandparents: Albert, Sr. and Harriett Greene; special cousins: Keith and Jolonda T. Greene.
To celebrate his life are his uncles: Charles Quarterman, Jr., Isaiah (Samantha) Quarterman, Albert Greene, Jr., and Jimmy (Judith) Greene, Sr; aunts: Martha (Bobby) Alvin, Denise (Sandy) Williams, Ann Quarterman, and Dorothy Quarterman; a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
To meet him at the gates of Heaven are his grandparents: Charles, Sr. and Dorothy Quarterman; and uncles John Howard, Earl, and Thomas Quarterman.
His wake is 7-8 p.m. Saturday, June 16 at Dorchester Funeral Home, 7842 E. Oglethorpe Highway in Midway. Funeral services are 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 17 at Live Oak Church of God, 296 Live Oak Church Road in Hinesville. Pastor Denise Williams will officiate.
