New Gen Business Park has expanded its support of ANDRA members competing in the ANDRA Sportsman Series by throwing its support behind three brackets for the 2025/2026 season.
Starting with this Friday and Saturday’s season opener (Nitro Up North, Hidden Valley Drag Strip), which will be swiftly followed by round two the following Wednesday (Desert Nationals, Alice Springs Inland Dragway), New Gen Business Park will be the bracket sponsor for the Competition Bike, Supercharged Outlaws, and Junior Drag Bike brackets.
NGBP is a 70 hectare master-planned estate, suitable for tenants and owner occupiers and well suited for large format logistics operators and advanced manufacturers.
In an Australian first, it was awarded certification under the Urban Development Institute of Australia’s EnviroDevelopment scheme across all six leaves – Ecosystems, Waste, Energy, Materials, Water and Community – providing independent verification of the project’s sustainability performance.
The Park, which is being developed by record-breaking former Top Fuel Motorcycle champion, Chris Matheson, in conjunction with national development group EMKC Cubed, is located in the suburb of Swanbank – 45 kilometres south-west of the Brisbane CBD and six kilometres south-east of Ipswich Central. It is currently 60 percent committed.
“After first partnering with the ANDRA Sportsman Series for the 2024/2025 season, I am exceptionally pleased to expand the involvement of New Gen Business Park with the championship for 2025/2026 by backing three of the brackets,” said Matheson, an eight-time national drag racing champion and record setter – including being the first Top Fuel Motorcycle rider in the Southern Hemisphere to run a five second pass in 2023.
“The ANDRA Sportsman Series is going from strength to strength – just like New Gen Business Park which is now 60 percent committed – and we are so proud to play a part in that.
“We look forward to seeing how the 2025/2026 season unfolds for all of the ANDRA racers, and in particular those fighting it out for ANDRA Sportsman Series glory in the New Gen Business Park sponsored Competition Bike, Supercharged Outlaws, and Junior Drag Bike brackets.”
ANDRA CEO, Tim McAvaney, said he was pleased to see New Gen Business Park expanding its role within the series.
“The 2024/2025 season was a big one for ANDRA and our Sportsman Series, and it is a testament to the efforts of all those involved, the ANDRA tracks, and the ANDRA racers, that a number of our supporters from that inaugural season are continuing and in some cases, expanding, their support for 2025/2026,” McAvaney said.
