Suzuki unveiled two exciting additions to its sportbike lineup: the all-new 2027 GSX-10R and GSX-10RS. Revealed at EICMA in Milan, Italy, these new models build upon Suzuki’s sportbike heritage with a compelling combination of performance, technology, and value. The GSX-10RS is a special model, unique to the United States.

Designed to offer a more accessible path into liter-class performance, the GSX-10R and GSX-10RS expand Suzuki’s sportbike family with two exciting new options for riders looking to move beyond the middleweight category.
Drawing on Suzuki’s racing heritage, the GSX-10R and GSX-10RS combine race-inspired performance with everyday usability, delivering the power, control, and rider engagement enthusiasts expect. Guided by Suzuki’s performance philosophy of “Run. Turn. Stop.”, both models are designed to appeal to a broad range of riders, including those looking to step up from motorcycles such as the GSX-8R and GSX-R600/750.

At the heart of both models is a refined 999cc inline-four engine paired with an expanded Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) suite designed to enhance rider confidence and control.

Designed to excel in real-world riding environments while remaining capable of delivering exhilarating sportbike performance, the GSX-10R and GSX-10RS offer an approachable entry into the 1000cc category. The combination of performance, technology, and value makes liter-class ownership more attainable than ever before.
Additional premium features include Suzuki’s first-ever Slide Control System, a new Brake Hold Control System, a 4.2-inch TFT instrument panel with Suzuki Ride Connect+ smartphone integration, full LED lighting, a lightweight lithium-ion battery, and a USB-C charging port. The result is an engaging riding experience that delivers excitement, capability, and versatility wherever the ride leads.
KEY GSX-10R/RS FEATURES
Bold, fully faired styling incorporates modern trends while embracing the identity of the GSX-R series, the GSX-10R is available in three distinct color schemes giving riders a trio of exciting choices: Pearl Vigor Blue / Metallic Mystic Silver, Pearl Pulse Red / Solid Iron Gray, or Metallic Galaxy Gray / Glass Sparkle Black.
In addition to the key features of the GSX-10R, the special model GSX-10RS comes with a race-oriented graphics kit and solo seat cowl with winglets that match the Pearl Vigor Blue / Metallic Mystic Silver, paint scheme.
Powered by Suzuki’s iconic, long-stroke GSX-R-derived 999cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, inline-four engine has been further refined for the GSX-10R.
Expanded in the GSX-10R, the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) suite employs 15 electronic control systems, including Cruise Control, to support the rider across a wide range of riding scenarios.
The GSX-10R’s updated S.I.R.S. features Suzuki’s first-ever slide control system that detects lateral movement during cornering and enables natural turning with minimal intervention. Also new is a brake hold control system; unlike conventional hill hold systems that operate only on inclines, this new system functions on flat ground and downhill slopes as well.
The GSX-10R’s twin-spar aluminum frame has been reinforced to accommodate a wide variety of sports riding. Like the GSX-R1000R, the GSX-10R’s sporty riding position is achieved by clip-on-style handlebars and a new sub-frame and seat with footpeg brackets.
The GSX-10R features a new fully adjustable KYB inverted fork that permits tuning of rebound damping, compression damping, and spring preload. The spring preload and damping force is adjustable in the new rear suspension, which includes the linkage, swingarm, and the shock absorber itself, was designed specifically for the GSX-10R.
The GSX-10R’s electronically controlled steering damper automatically increases damping at higher speeds and reduces it at slower speeds. The result is a fine balance of precision and agility on faster and slower roads that further enhances cornering performance.
Bridgestone BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S23 tires are fitted to the GSX-10R. These tires are renowned for their performance and durability. The rear tire size has been enlarged from the GSX-S1000’s 190/50ZR17 to 190/55ZR17.
The GSX-10R features a new radial front brake master cylinder, a pair of Brembo mono-bloc four-piston radially mounted brake calipers grasp a pair of new, specially developed brake discs.
Lighting includes compact dual-beam projector LED headlight flanked by a pair of LED position lights that accentuate the GSX-10R’s aggressive appearance with a sharp, distinctive look. All other lighting is lightweight, low-draw LEDs.
The GSX-10R is equipped with a lightweight and compact lithium-ion battery. Mounted to the left of the instrument panel is a type-C USB port, which can charge devices such as smart phones.
The GSX-10R employs a new 4.2-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) instrument panel that makes it easy to monitor the motorcycle’s operation and adjust the S.I.R.S. features. With a compatible smartphone/data connection and the Suzuki Ride Connect+ app, this TFT panel delivers added convenience—providing turn-by-turn navigation, notifications, weather updates, and other alerts to enhance the riding experience.
