It’s a sad day for motorsports as the IHRA just announced that it will be taking all 12 of its remaining tracks and sending them to auction, with IHRA owner Darryl Cuttell’s goal set to be totally out of motorsports by the end of the year.

In this video we look back at the whirlwind pace in which IHRA acquired Atlanta Dragway, Heartland Motorsports Park, Milan Dragway, Emprire Dragway, Galot Motorsports Park, Piedmont Dragway, Rockingham Speedway, Dragway 42, Kil Kare Raceway, National Trail Raceway, Memphis Motorsports Park and Virginia Motorsports Park, how the future seemed so bright, how it all went wrong and how President Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s relationship could have played a big factor in this story.

We will go through all the tracks for sale and pick out which ones we think will make it which ones will not. We also talk about the recent sale of Keystone Raceway, and how it will likely become a data center. We also address the popular theory that all of these tracks were destined to be data centers and this was the plan all along. Let us know your thoughts down below
