NHRA officials have made the unfortunate decision on Sunday to cancel this weekend’s In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip due to persistent and adverse weather and unsafe track conditions.

After an exhaustive effort from the NHRA Safety Safari and following close consultation with safety officials this weekend, NHRA made the decision to cancel the race.
The rest of the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series world champions have been determined by the current points standings on Sunday, as Austin Prock (Funny Car), Dallas Glenn (Pro Stock) and Richard Gadson (Pro Stock Motorcycle) picked up championships. It’s the second straight world title for Prock, while Glenn and Gadson earned their first world titles.

Doug Kalitta earned his second career Top Fuel world championship on Saturday.
The remaining Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series championship, in Top Alcohol Dragster, was decided the same way, with Shawn Cowie winning his second straight championship.

“While we explored every possible option to complete the event this weekend, the safety of our competitors, teams and fans remains the highest priority, which led to this difficult decision to cancel the event,” NHRA President Glen Cromwell said.

“We thank the incredible NHRA community – and especially the fans for braving the elements – for their unwavering support throughout this challenging weekend and during an unforgettable 2025 season.”
NHRA extends its gratitude to the track staff at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip, emergency personnel and all the partners who worked tirelessly during the weekend.
