Trim-Tex Motorsports Enters Flat Track Racing in a Big Way

Trim-Tex Flat Track Racing

The core of Trim-Tex is family. The core of flat track motorcycle racing is family. The partnership between two entities rooted in family is one to watch in 2024. Trim-Tex, a drywall solutions company, based out of Illinois, is partnering with Howie Doin Roger That (HDRT) Racing, a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to giving back to the motorcycle community.

In conjunction with this partnership, Trim-Tex will be sponsoring HDRT Racing amateur ambassadors Seth and Levi Bendle of Bendle Bros Racing for the 2024 flat track racing season.

Bendle Bros Racing is a unique and powerful team of twin, 16 year old brothers from Delaware, Ohio. Trim-Tex has over 5 decades of successful business under their belt, while Seth and Levi have over a decade of racing under theirs.

The commonality of family, willingness to help others, and a love of racing is the foundation for this partnership. Trim-Tex’s CEO, Joe Koenig, is no stranger to racing, competition and breaking records in the motorsports field. While having his own personal accolades of breaking drag racings pro-stock motorcycle record of 7.02 seconds, the love of all things two wheels runs deep in his blood.

After seeing the dedication to the craft that Seth and Levi have for flat track racing, as well as all things motorsports, and their eagerness to help their fellow riders, Joe decided that teaming up with HDRT and Bendle Bros Racing was a perfect fit.

Koenig commented about partnership, “Paying it Forward” is how we roll at Trim-Tex, and when a high quality, ethical, hard-working teenager lands on our radar, we get excited to learn more about them. The radar blip for Seth and Levi was very bright so we set up a meeting and, wow, they are 2-times the real deal!”

“We are thrilled to have them as the newest Trim-Tex Motorsports athletes joining 20-time champion, Larry “Spiderman” McBride (Top Fuel Motorcycle), Trent Hindman (IMSA Champion), Josh Bilicki (IMSA & Nascar)  Geno Scali and Ryan Schnitz (NHRA).”

Geno Scali is right at home on his NHRA championship-winner 15 years later.

The cultivation of Trim-Tex coming aboard as the title sponsor of Bendle Bros Racing to further elevate the race program and support them as Howie Doin Roger That Racing ambassadors for the 2024 amateur racing season is a testament to a saying that was often used by the late Nicky Hayden, “Good things happen to good people.”

Seth and Levi have looked up to the Hayden’s since they were 5 years old when their father, Josh, introduced them to flat track racing. As a family, the Bendle’s have embarked upon chasing their dreams and Seth and Levi will be competing for the 2024 Nicky Hayden Horizon Award at the AMA Flat Track National Championship event this summer.

“We are excited for this opportunity and have worked really hard to put ourselves in a position to win on and off the track,” stated Seth Bendle (2F). “We can’t wait to represent Trim-Tex and do give-back events with HDRT in 2024. We are looking forward to competing at National’s this year and going for the Horizon Award,” added Levi Bendle (7F). Father, Josh Bendle, added, “These boys have put in the work and it’s really cool for them to be able to show the younger riders that dreams do come true when you work hard and put in the effort.”

The Trim-Tex backed riders will debut at Flat Out Friday on February 23, in Milwaukee, WI. Seth and Levi will be racing in the AA class, also known as the Charlotte Kainz Memorial race, which couldn’t be more fitting, as Joe Koenig spun a lot of laps on the ice with Charlotte for many years. Tickets to watch one of the best races of the year are available at flatoutfriday.com or you can stream the event live on Flat Out Friday’s YouTube channel. Either way, it’s a must see racing production.

HDRT Racing will be doing rider give-backs on-site at Flat Out Friday sponsored by Trim-Tex and in memory of Charlotte Kainz as part of the community outreach. Shane Osberg of HDRT Racing noted, “I’ve seen them (Seth & Levi) ride smooth & I think the floor of Fiserv Arena is a great place for them to make their debut on the Trim-Tex backed machines. It’s going to be a fun event and as an organization dedicated to giving back to the race community, we couldn’t be more excited to have Seth and Levi onboard, not only representing Trim-Tex and HDRT, but going above and beyond to help out their fellow riders. Right now, they’re in the middle of building and welding together a balance bike to help riders learn form and train in the off-season.

It’s really incredible to watch how they gravitate to helping out others. They align perfectly with our wide open gratitude motto.”
