Jr. Drag Bike racing has been long debated between advocates, sanctioning bodies and insurance companies in the Unites States for years with NHRA and IHRA tracks unable to host these types of races. In this video we give you an inside look into these Jr. Drag Bikes and their fearless young riders at the unsanctioned 480-foot drag strip, RMC, Reading Motorcycle Club in Oley, Pa.

Proper safety gear is required and event organizers and parents tell us the class has an outstanding safety record. Over in the UK Jr. Drag Bike is an official class that gets to run at Santa Pod Raceway in front of their massive crowd at the FIM FIA Euro Finals event. What a thrill for the kids. NHRA and IHRA are all-in when it comes to Jr. Dragster racing but have been unable to back this form of coemption. Cycledrag’s take is as long as safety checks are done and the track length is kept short, NHRA and IHRA may be missing a golden opportunity to grow the sport. What is your take?
