Dream Chaser Racin’ NHRA Cordova Results

 

The Dream Chaser Racin’ team  didn’t run their best numbers but Janette Thornley is riding like a bracket racer on a nitro powered Pro Dragster. Thornley continues to run strong consistent numbers and a #2 qualifying spot is what the team needs for winning in the future events with the NHRA Harley-Davidson Drag Racing Series. 

 

Thornley, “Of course we’d like to win every event, but we ran ET’s of 7.5, 7.8, 7.7, 7.5 and 7.6, our worst mph was 163.1 and our best 172.5 mph.  We lost to Dave Larson, who’s been racing for years by .0102 of a second.”  

 

“The data we gathered at the Matco Summer Showdown presented by Clinton Harley-Davidson at Cordova Dragway is always beneficial.   All in all, Cordova Dragway’s event was a good event for us.  We had no major mechanical problems, just good consistent racing in front of good crowds with good weather, can’t whine about that.” 

 

The team will regroup the month of July and we’ll take some time to  do some updates to the motorcycle.   Dream Chasin’ Racing is planning a test session in Sacramento California (dates to be determined and announced soon).
