Most of the motorcycle world has embraced EFI but for the motorcycle drag racing application the Carburetors vs. Electronic Fuel Injection debate is an interesting and controversial one for turbo, nitrous and naturally aspirated drag bikes.
We ask three drag bike tuning experts, Pro Mod / Pro Stock 70 year old legend and creator of the motorcycle drag racing Lectron carb Paul “Fast By” Gast, NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Team Jerry Savoie championship winning crew chief and fuel injection advocate Tim Kulungian, and multi class business and team owner Ed Grothus of Grothus Dragbikes their opinions on the pros and cons of motorcycle carburetors and fuel injection.
