MIROCK Series Gaines Serious Media Exposure
MIROCK Superbike Series presented by Mickey Thompson Tires gains some serious media exposure for 2008 and beyond! The MIROCK Superbike Series is an eight event drag racing series between Maryland International Raceway and Rockingham Dragway and hosts over 400 racers at each event. The MIROCK Superbike Series draws from 3,000 - 6,000 fans at each race! More and more sponsors and racers are migrating to this growing series due to the east coast localization as this is where most motorcycle drag racers are located in the country. As the series has grown, the need for more media exposure is required and MIROCK is pleased to announce that racers will now be in the spotlight! The east coast based MIROCK Superbike drag racing series is pleased to announce that 2 Wheel Tuner magazine has been added to the line up of event coverage for the entire MIROCK series. 2 Wheel Tuner will print a story and photos from each MIROCK event to give racers and their sponsors national newsstand exposure. “We’re glad to have 2 Wheel Tuner come in and put the MIROCK series on the map with a national newsstand magazine,” said MIROCK series promoter Jason Miller. “We have a great show here and now the rest of the country can see what we are all about. Plus, the MIROCK racers can get that much needed national exposure for their sponsors.” The MIROCK series event coverage press list doesn’t stop there. Straightliner, America’s only all-motorcycle drag racing magazine will also continue to cover each MIROCK event in full hard hitting detail for the insider, with post event results and stories in each class.“Straightliner is a great magazine and managing editor Tim Hailey works very hard to make each issue even better than the last!” continued Miller.“Tim has also recently been placing our race coverage in Cycle News. This weekly publication is the motorcycle industry bible and is read cover to cover by all of the factories and accessory manufacturers.” Also dragbike.com, psychobike.com, cycledrag.com, and mirockracing.com will be there for online event coverage. Frank Adams of psychobike will be hosting live Race Per View event coverage with the Live Timing program so that fans too far away to be able to make the event can tune in to get the latest and most up to date Outlaw, Pro Sportbike, True Street, Quick 32, Pro ET, and Street ET information, results, and live video. Be sure to also look on cycledrag.com for Jack Korpela’s stories and photos of each MIROCK event. Dragbike.com and mirockracing.com will also continue to post results online for you to check out the latest stats on the event. “All MIROCK racers, please be aware that when you are contacted by any of the editors or online webmasters—Tim Hailey, Jack Korpela, Frank Adams, Matt Polito, or me, that you get back with us as soon as possible,” said Miller. “Magazine deadlines are sometimes quick and stories have to be submitted on time. If you wait to long to call back you may have missed your chance on some national exposure. Please make it a priority to contact them back right away. All MIROCK Racers are encouraged to use these event coverage resources to solicit new sponsors to help your racing program. These magazines and online sites are a great means to give sponsors event more exposure than what is found on the racetrack itself. Good luck in 2008 and beyond!” For more information about the MIROCK Superbike Series, please visit mirockracing.com For more information on these events visit mirockracing.com
