AHDRA NAMES PINEHURST, NC AS LOCATION FOR THE 2008 CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS CELEBRATION.

The All Harley Drag Racing Association (AHDRA) has announced that the 2008 “Night of Champions” Awards Banquet will be held on Monday, October 13th at the Fair Barn in Pinehurst, N.C.

At the conclusion of each season, racers, crews and their families join together to celebrate their hard work and accomplishments, and to be a part of the excitement as the new national champions are crowned.

The banquet has been held in Las Vegas, NV for many years, but with the championship finals moving to Rockingham Dragway in 2008, the popular championship awards celebration will move back east as well.

The Fair Barn is located within the confines of the Pinehurst Harness Track. The original 56-acre track complex is the oldest continuously operating equine sports facility in North Carolina. The Fair Barn is approximately 30 miles from Rockingham Dragway.

Pinehurst, NC is also popular for some of the finest golf courses in the U.S. With that said, be sure to check out some of the courses available in Pinehurst, NC and get yourself a tee time soon-they fill up fast!

Tickets for the 2008 “Night of Champions” Awards Banquet will be available soon online at www.ahdra.com and in SPEED Magazine. Tickets will also be available at the AHDRA tech trailer soon. The cost is $50 per person. Tickets to the banquet are not available for purchase at the door.
