MIROCK Spring Bike Classic Preview
On Saturday and Sunday it’s the Mickey Thompson
Tires MIROCK Fast By Gast Spring Bike Classic! Over 400 race bikes will pour
into MIR and thousands of spectators for an action packed weekend of motorcycle
drag racing! In addition to the drag racing we will host a huge streetbike
corral, wheelie contest, grudge matches, Bikini contest and a vendor midway!
This weekend will be packed with four no-wheelie bar pro classes including: The
6-second 200mph insane Schnitz Racing Outlaw Pro Street bikes! The smack talking
7-second 190mph Orient Express Pro Sportbikes! And the brand new MIROCK class
for 2008 the HTP Performance True Street bikes! Plus a special treat for this
weekend the fastest streetbikes in the world will be at MIR to put on a quick 16
shootout, Don’t miss these low 7-second, 200mph Pro Street machines! There will
also be bracket racing for Quick 32, Pro ET bikes, and Street ET bikes!
Also check out the insane wheelie contest on Sunday as the DC area riders show
off their skills and compete for bragging rights, purse and trophies! Also back
for 2008, the popular $1,000 Bikini contest hosted by Anne Marie will take place
on Sunday as well. A huge manufacturers midway will also be on hand both days
with lots of vendors, food, parts, and accessories. Plus on Saturday night, the
Afterdark Underground comes to the surface with a 2-hour grudge racing program!

On Saturday the gates will open at 10am with Pro Qualifying at 2pm, 4pm, and
6pm. Pro ET and Street ET eliminations will begin at 5pm, and after Saturday’s
eliminations the Afterdark Underground begins with smack talking and grudge
racing!
On Sunday the gates open at 9am, with time runs starting at 9:30am. Pro
Eliminations begin at 1pm, the wheelie contest starts at 2pm, and the bikini
contest kicks off at 3:30pm! Spectators are $20 per day or a two pass is $35.
